Janette,
It's great that you finally got some relief. Many can benefit from using this type of product.
-- Contributed by: Ella RainI was so tired that it was hard to think straight and I was very emotional. Around March of this year I ordered Pure Sleep and what a difference! Sleep is more restful and I'm not waking up as much. We went on vacation and I left my bag at the hotel. One week without PS and I was ready to scream. The night it was delivered to the house was a good night's rest.
Although a sleep study diagnosed me with moderate sleep apnea, I am unable to use a CPAP. So this device is a Godsend.
Jeff,
Products like Pure Sleep are wonderful alternatives to surgery, too. It definitely is worth looking into, especially considering how many people experience relief from snoring using the product.

- You are undergoing orthodontic treatment
- You have loose teeth
- Temporomandibular disorder
- Full dentures
- Severe gingivitis
- Dental implants within one year
The site notes that the soreness goes away after the mouth gets used to the device. The irregular bite should disappear as well. It's crucial that you quit using the device immediately if pain is severe or if the changes in bite continue. The site doesn't specify how long it takes to get used to the device, so check with your dentist to see if the changes and discomfort have been going on too long.
-- Contributed by: Ella RainI bought the pure sleep device and it does stop my snoring. I am concerned about the pull it has on my lower teeth. I'm worried that it will cause my teeth to move. Also, they say that it temporarily alters your bite. This is true and I worry about prolonged used. Anyone have any thoughts?
